Validata carries out the ID check on a national as well as an international level.
Online ID check quickly taken care of by Validata
The (potential) employee is asked to upload a scan of the passport, ID card, or residence permit in Validata’s secure online system. This is also possible using a mobile phone or tablet device. Via a special mobile-friendly function in our application, you can easily take a photo of the document which is saved directly in your personal account.
Identity verification through our partner Mitek
The scan or photo of ID is sent to data supplier Mitek, the industry leader in digital identification on an international level. They check the authenticity and validity of the document.. In addition, Mitek inspects whether a passport or ID card appears in the VIS register (Verification Identification System). This includes all documents previously reported as stolen or missing.

Citizen Service Number (BSN) identification
Please note: for privacy reasons, Validata is not authorised to process the citizen service number (BSN). That is why we ask (potential) employees to cover and protect their Citizen Service Number before uploading the scan or photo of their identification in Validata’s secure online system.
